Loved is being built to look after some of the most personal things a family owns. That care starts here. This policy explains what information is collected when you visit this website, why, and the rights you have over it.

01Who we are

This website is operated by OSIO Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17463838, with its registered office at 9 Devon Road, Merstham, Redhill, Surrey, RH1 3EU.

For the purposes of UK data protection law, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, we are the controller of the personal information described in this policy.

02What this policy covers

This policy covers this website only. The Loved app is not yet available. Before it launches, we will publish a separate privacy policy explaining how the app handles accounts, family memories, photographs, videos and voice recordings. Nothing you do on this website creates an account or stores any family content.

03Information we collect

This website does not ask you to sign up, log in or fill in any forms. We collect only the following:

• Technical information. When you visit, the servers that host this website automatically receive standard information your browser sends, such as your IP address, browser and device type, the page requested, the referring page, and the date and time of the request. This is recorded in server logs.
• Information you send us. If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if you include it, and anything you choose to write.

We do not intentionally collect special category information (such as health information) through this website, and we ask that you do not send it to us by email.

04How and why we use it

• To deliver and secure the website — to show you the pages you request, keep the site working, and detect and prevent abuse or attacks. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in running a secure, reliable website.
• To reply to you — to read and respond to messages you send us. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
• To meet legal obligations — where we are required to keep or disclose information by law. Our lawful basis is compliance with a legal obligation.

We do not sell your personal information, use it for advertising, or make decisions about you using automated processing.

05Cookies and tracking

This website does not use cookies, analytics, advertising trackers, social media pixels or embedded third-party content. Our fonts and images are served from this website itself, so visiting it does not send your information to font or content providers.

If that ever changes, we will update this policy and, where the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) require it, ask for your consent before setting any non-essential cookies.

06Who we share it with

• Hosting and infrastructure providers, who operate the servers and technical services needed to deliver this website securely. These providers may process technical information, including IP addresses and server logs, on our behalf.
• Professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, where necessary.
• Authorities, such as law enforcement or regulators, where we are legally required to do so or need to protect our rights, our users or the public.

07International transfers

Our hosting provider may process technical information outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Where personal information is transferred outside the UK, we make sure it is protected by safeguards recognised under UK data protection law — for example, an adequacy regulation (including the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, where the recipient is certified) or the International Data Transfer Addendum to the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses. 08How long we keep it

• Server logs are kept for a short period in line with our hosting provider’s standard retention, and then deleted.
• Emails are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry, and normally no longer than 24 months after our last contact with you, unless we need to keep them longer for legal reasons.

09Your rights

Under UK data protection law you have the right to:

• ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
• ask us to delete your information;
• ask us to restrict how we use your information;
• object to our use of your information where we rely on legitimate interests;
• ask for your information to be transferred to you or another organisation, where applicable.

To exercise any of these rights, email support@withloved.com. There is normally no charge, and we will respond within one month. We may need to confirm your identity first.

10Complaints

If you have a concern, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the UK’s data protection regulator, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or by calling 0303 123 1113.

11Children

This website is intended for adults — parents, carers and families. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children through it.

12Security

This website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and we use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your information and limit what we collect in the first place.

13Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time, for example when the Loved app launches. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed. Significant changes will be made clear on this website.
